Well, the Q line will be a hot mess for late-night commuters in Manhattan, and it and the B do some daytime local/express switcheroo in Brooklyn. Here are this week’s transit advisories:
B LINE
From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Brighton Beach.
Q LINE
From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park.
At night, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, there are no trains at N, Q and R stations in Manhattan. Q trains are rerouted via the D 6 Av line in Manhattan to/from the 57 St F station.
Q trains operate as follows:
- Manhattan-bound Q: After DeKalb Av, Q trains run via the D to 47-50 Sts, then to the 57 St F station, the last stop.
- Coney Island-bound Q: Q trains originate at the 57 St F station then run via the D to Brooklyn. Regular Coney Island-bound Q service resumes at DeKalb Av.
F LINE
From 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday to Friday, 179 St-bound F trains run local from Roosevelt Av to 71 Av.

Express stop riders will be happy to learn that they’ll have a quicker trip over the weekend, while local riders at Avenue U and Neck Road will moan and groan as they have to double back to Sheepshead Bay Road to catch a train to Manhattan. The F… well, the F.

From 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Sheepshead Bay to Kings Highway.
F LINE
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound F trains run express from W 4 St to 34 St-Herald Sq.

A little subway service switcheroo on the B and Q lines, with the B running local for a stretch, and the Q running express for a stretch. And, of course, it’s all mixed up in both directions to make sure it’s extra confusing. The F, meanwhile, is, well, still the F. Here are this week’s subway service advisories.
B LINE
From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Manhattan–bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park. At the same time, Brighton Beach–bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Brighton Beach.
Q LINE
Meanwhile, the Q is doing the opposite of the B. From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Coney Island–bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway, and Manhattan-bound trains run express from Sheepshead Bay Road to Kings Highway.
F LINE
From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, Queens–bound F trains run express from W 4 St to 34 St–Herald Sq.
From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, Coney Island–bound F trains are rerouted via the A from W 4 St to Jay St–MetroTech.

Bro, there’s, like, totally nothin’ to worry about this weekend, man. No Q train advisories, and even the F is running without any changes in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Too bad the weather sucks and you won’t want to go anywhere.
Anyway, here’s the one little, itsy-bitsy advisory:
F TRAIN
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, Jamaica-bound F trains run local from Roosevelt Av to 71 Av.

After a few quiet weeks on the subway service adjustment front, we’re back to the same-ol’-same-ol’ of nighttime and mid-day changes. Here’s this week’s calamity.
B LINE
From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Kings Hwy to Brighton Beach.
Q LINE
From 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday to Thursday, 57 St/7 Av-bound Q trains are rerouted via the R from DeKalb Av to Canal St.
During the days, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, there are no Q trains between 57 St-7 Av and Ditmars Blvd – Take the N.
And from 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Manhattan-bound Q trains skip Neck Rd and Avenue U.
F LINE
From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, there are no F trains between Roosevelt Av and 21 St-Queensbridge. See the MTA website for travel alternatives.

Look out weekend riders, you’ll have a slightly longer commute on the Q as it picks up a few R train stops. Meanwhile, those returning home via the F line will have a slightly faster ride. Check out this weekend’s subway service advisories below.
Q LINE
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m Monday, all Q trains are rerouted via the R in both directions between Canal St and DeKalb Av.
- Trains stop at City Hall, Cortlandt St, Rector St, Whitehall St, Court St, and Jay St-MetroTech.
During nights this weekend, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m., 57 St/7 Av-bound N trains stop at 49 St.
F LINE
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound F trains are rerouted via the M from 47-50 Sts to Queens Plaza.
From 11:15 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-bound F trains run express from Jay St-MetroTech to Church Av.
During one night this weekend, from 9:45 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, No F service at Lexington Av/63 St.
- Coney Island-bound F trains skip this station.
- Jamaica-bound F trains are rerouted via the M from 47-50 Sts to Queens Plaza.
- Use the nearby Lexington Av/59 St 4/6/N/R station.

Another good week for subway commuters, with no planned changes to B line service whatsoever. The Q and F lines have just small nighttime adjustments to watch out for.

Almost nothing to report on this front. The Q is all clear of service adjustments throughout the weekend and Memorial Day, and just the smallest tweak on the far reaches of the F line.
