CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We summarize the week’s statistics for the 61st Precinct reports every Friday. The 61st Precinct is the police command responsible for Sheepshead Bay, Gravesend, Kings Highway, Homecrest, Madison, Manhattan Beach, and Gerritsen Beach.

  1. That’s bullshit, wheres your evidence? Plus Coney Island is definitely not safer than Sheepshead Bay, because of the couple of stabbings and shootings that happened this year. Plus, by the looks of it, most of the Russian mobs moved into another area so I don’t know if your statement is valid.

  2. The 61st precinct has more crimes to date this year than it did during the same time period last year. If you look at the Comstat data, the 61st precinct is the only precinct in South Brooklyn, which has seen an uptick in crime since the new Mayor took office. Why then does 11235 have a higher household income then both Coney Island and Midwood, that is according to the American Community Survey data. These two neighborhoods are statistically safer than is Sheepshead Bay. It has to be the Russians and the mob, who are lining the pockets of our elected officials. Other neighborhoods deserve more and Sheepshead Bay deserves less. The new administration must have found out that the Russians are not really “Tea Party” members: rather, the Russians are corrupt Commies, the same ugly goons that they have always been, both the women and the men. In Sheepshead Bay, cops run collections for the mob, El Greco is an example that comes to mind.
