Sheepshead Bay Apartment Rental Roundup

Amazing paint job. Really color choices in the other rooms, too.

Cool paint job, bro. Really good color choices in the other rooms, too.

Three Bedrooms and No Description in Sheepshead Bay
Price: $1,850
Location: Avenue Z and Ocean Avenue
Description: Some realtors are just above writing descriptions for the apartments they’ve put onto the market. But this realtor did grace us with a bullet point summary of the apartment. Heat and hot water are included and there is a balcony, as well as an awesome paint job.

Two Bedrooms in Midwood
Price: $2,801
Location: East 14th Street
Description: You have to appreciate it when a realtor agent uses all caps in the apartment’s description. It means they’re either enthusiastic, desperate or just really high on meth. The apartment has two “huge” bedrooms and on top of having laundry there’s also “lots of laundry,” so good luck cleaning some random person’s dirty clothing left in the apartment.

One Slightly Less Expensive Bedroom in Sheepshead Bay
Price: $1,775
Location: 1125 Banner Avenue
Description: Last week we showed you an apartment that was way out of (y)our league. Well, this apartment posting is located within the same building but at a much reduced rate. The last listing was for a two bedroom. This listing is a one bedroom, but what you lose in space you gain in money saved while still living your fantasy life. I guess. Fantasies happen on Banner Avenue, right?

The rental prices are astounding. I can’t see how a single person is able to cover their rent by themselves and still be able to eat.

And everyone is talking about middle class. What is middle class today? Who can afford these prices. I am for free market but such prices are forcing people out of Brooklyn.

Bahaha, and them biatches have the nerve to say Oceana is overpriced.

I love reading these rental round-ups, it just confirms why I choose to stay in my tiny, but affordable condo rental. Well, THAT and I despise moving.
