I don’t think we’re in Brooklyn anymore, Toto. (Source: trams aux fils/Flickr)

There’s a huge chunk of this week where it’s like the Manhattan-bound Q train simply doesn’t exist in Brooklyn. For us express riders – what a joy! For the rest of you… um, sorry?

Here’s this week’s subway service advisories.

B LINE

From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Sheepshead Bay.

Additionally, B service ends approximately 30 minutes earlier than usual due to FASTRACK related construction.

Q LINE

Until Mid-Fall 2013, Manhattan-bound Q trains skip Cortelyou Rd, Beverley Rd, and Parkside Av.

  • To Cortelyou Rd and Beverley Rd, take the Manhattan-bound Q to Church Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
  • To Parkside Av, take the Manhattan-bound Q to Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
  • From these stations, take a Coney Island-bound Q to Church Av or Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.

From 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Friday, Manhattan-bound Q trains skip Neck Rd and Avenue U.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, No Q trains between 57 St-7 Av and Ditmars Blvd – Take the N instead.

F LINE

From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, 179 St-bound F trains run express from W 4 St to 34 St-Herald Sq.
