
I appreciate, to varying degrees (like a lot, to not very much), photos of seagulls, swans, sunrises and sunsets, but I needed a bathtub-sized drool bucket when I saw the images that popped up in my inbox yesterday afternoon.
The photographer informed me that the image above is of an inverted panorama of a virtual tour of the Brighton Beach boardwalk, “with more photos inside of it, so the viewer can explore the whole area in 360 Virtual Reality!” You can learn more about it here.
Well, butter my buns and call me a biscuit — I am in love with this photo. Which is to say I am jealous and should just hang up my D90 now. My work here is done.
