The Madison-Marine-Homecrest Civic Association will hold its “Annual Meeting,” during which time the group will elect and installation officers and board members, June 21, 7:30 p.m. at King’s Chapel, corner of Quentin Road and East 27th Street (enter on East 27th).

Other items on the meeting’s agenda include:

  • Announcing recipients of the “Mary Powell Student Awards”
  • Manhattan Borough President and mayoral candidate Scott Stringer will be the guest speaker
  • Officials will deliver neighborhood reports from the 61st Precinct

This is the group’s last meeting of the season, before going on hiatus until October 18. Refreshments will be served.

    MMHCA stops just outside the western side of Marine Park (Stuart St.), but we do discuss issues involving it since most of our residents use it.  The Marine Park Civic Association actually covers the park; we often have a rep at each others meetings because of similar issues.
