Maybe it’s just me, but I look at this photo, and I think — another time, another place — and it could be Brooklyn’s answer to Scooter and the Big Man. Instead of meeting at the Stone Pony and making history, kismet dictated that they’d be munching on mini Slim Jims, selling artsy tees in Coney, and enjoying the sunshine and each others company on the small screen of real life instead.

This “Scooter” doesn’t look like he’ll ever find his groove and that “Big Man” looks like selling t-shirts is his bag and will NEVER go uptown to join any band.  They’ll freezeout under the boardwalk not Tenth Avenue.

Maybe so, but that’s the thing about looks. They can be deceiving. I’ll bet these guys are probably pretty cool, adept at surfing the tide of life, and do mostly alright for themselves.

Perhaps, but “Cheap Sunglasses” seems more appropriate.

I think they’re undercover.  “Coney Island Vice”, a new police drama, coming this fall. It won’t make me stop watching “The Client List”, though.
