Looks like Weather.com was on the money.  When I checked the weather this morning, there was a weather alert to watch out for brush fires because conditions were just right for them.

      What ignites a brush fire?

Not sure but I guess dry conditions (lack of rain for a long time) and strong winds, both of which are present today, are needed factors for fire to easily spread when there is a spark.

        Who is the question.

Answer? Angry artists. Van Gogh was famous for starting them.

But seriously, a dropped ash from a ciogarette could be hot enough to ignite dry reeds.

In some cases, it can even be cause by spontaneous combustion.

There is always a brush fire there. Cut all
The brush out and avoid this in the future.

Can’t do that. Not good for environment!
