BREAKING: Fire Knocks Out Power Along Avenue U

A fire broke out at around 9:00 a.m. on Bragg Street in the basement of Family Physical Therapy at 3036 Avenue U, according to a reader.

The reader told Sheepshead Bites that it was nearly two hours before firefighters left the scene, and that Avenue U lost power between Ford Street and Bragg Street.

According to Con Ed, power should return by 8:00 p.m. tonight at the latest.

damn insurance company i pay 7 years now for my auto
insurance….and after i had a minor accident with MTA Bus….Bus ripped my
side mirror. I asked if they can fix my mirror…they said NO to me because my deductible
is $500…so all this time I had no accident (they stuffed their pockets with
money) and now when i do have this minor accident they refuse help me with such
a small expense….bunch of assholes. but guess what damn state want you to
