We were driving in the brighton beach area down one of the side streets and we had to back out because of a downed power line. Interesting thing was some very brave soul had tied a red plastic bag to the middle of the line making it more visible.

yep there is a tree leaning on the bridge on the stop right before sheepshead bay (coming from brighton)

You missed two. I don't know if they're sailboats exactly, since it was dark and they were badly damaged, but there are two more that have been torn up and are now floating against the bulkhead near the Holocaust Memorial Park. There is also a ton of debris – wood, paneling, foam and general boating miscellanea – gathered in that spot. The swans appear concerned.
