Will do Ned... keep you informed. BTW I'm the girl who reads the MINUTES in case you might get us all mixed up which I doubt. :)
Hope your bribe worked LOL. And that Cold Stone ice cream was outrageous. I only tried two of the cakes.
As far as getting involved in the community, it also took me awhile and it's been ten years now. Once you step out there it becomes easier. It's like the saying from that famous Classic Movie ... "Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in".
    Be in touch.
  • No problem, Laura. Please keep us informed on any news coming out of SBPB in the time between meetings, and we'll let the neighbors know.

It's true. They had a raffle. And I won a gift certificate to Silver Star, which I used to bribe Ray to cover an event tonight for me. Mwahahah. You missed out, Lisanne.

Oh, they also had free ice cream cakes from Coldstone Creamery for everyone.

Suckers. This is why you should get involved with your community!

Hi Lisanne... We probably don't know each other. Sorry you couldn't make it. We did a little something different this year and had a FREE raffle for the Holidays. The prizes were donated by local merchants.
We would love to see you and any one else interested in the community and community affairs join us. Hope to see you in January 2010. Happy Holidays and New Year to all.

Yes Ned was there covering and we were happy to have him. He also helped us get the correct information out about at the meeting by posting on this site. The flyer for our December 1 meeting/hoiday celebration was a little confusing this month and it was brought to our attention at the last minute Monday... (the long holiday week-end and all that.) We contacted him Monday night via-email and he assured us within the hour that he would post a clarification ASAP and he did Tuesday just in time for the meeting last night. Thanks again Ned.
  • It was windy out there. Otherwise I might have gone.

I have to learn to push myself harder.
  • I hope someone is gonna be there to cover the meeting for an article!
