One Muslim family in Sheepshead Bay has posted a festive sign wishing us all a Happy Eid. So, we would like to extend this Eid Mubarak message to our readers.
Those of you who forgot to move the car in time for the today’s alternate side of the street parking, but were pleasantly surprised to find that you didn’t get a ticket — you have this Islamic holiday to thank!

It’s totally great to see this! Was this on Avenue Z? I think I know the house. I married a Muslim so we celebrate Eid too…but I miss Christmas lights from my childhood…so I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my holiday lights to spell out “Eid Mubarak!” or “Happy Eid”….along this same vein…
Actually, I can’t remember the exact location. That’s a great idea to put the message in holidays lights. Why not ask the landscapers who do the holiday decorating about how to do it?
