shopping cart cvs night 1

Like a deer caught in the headlights, this CVS store shopping cart running away from home (1402 Sheepshead Bay Rd) after dark, nearly crashed into the fence when the traffic came up suddenly on it. Still, it kept its wits about itself and managed to hold onto the green-leaf cargo.

Well, gotta admit, the speeding traffic coming off that curving road at the intersection of Sheepshead Bay Road and Shore Parkway does take even the pedestrians for a spin.

This shopping cart looks strangely similar to the one that stole my wallet outside of CVS last week. Apparently, there has been a rash of robberies by rogue shopping carts that refuse to serve their designated function in society. Authorities have been alerted as to the existence of Ray’s photo shown here. An investigation is already underway. Once positive ID has been established, a warrant will likely be issued for the shopping cart’s arrest. All I ask is that my wallet be returned to me sans little chunks of lettuce and tomato.

Well, just try picking this one out of a line up. They all look the same!
