Councilman Lew Fidler and the NYPD are hosting a Crime Prevention and Safety Tips Information Session tomorrow evening at Marine Park JHS.

Representatives of NYPD Patrol Borough Brooklyn South and the 61st and 63rd Precincts will offer a presentation, followed by a Q&A session. The event comes in the wake of reports of possible attempted child abductions in the area, and the representatives will discuss this with residents.

    12-13 girls drinking 40′s in a private courtyard in broad daylight

    From possible child abductions to youngsters and substance abuse — I sure hope this meeting puts everyone on alert.

    I’m sorry to believe that locally people are too passive/apthetic (it seems). The reactions when sharing this in person has been literally jaw-dropping.
