The King's Bay YM-YWHA and Trump Village West - Community Carnival, May 19, 2013

This dead pigeon was seen, recently, lodged in between a window and its window bars at 2711 Avenue X (between East 27 St and East 28 St).

The apartment building’s lobby and front entrance appears well-kept and exceptionally clean, so we’re pretty sure that the maintenance crew probably didn’t know that there was a dead bird there. If they had known, they might have taken it away right away.

In any case, it strikes those who see it as something eerie and sad.

I grew up in that building. The bird is not the only thing dead, people used to drop like flies in that co-op. A lot of seniors, now I believe its all Russians.
