Warning:
Pedestrians, please exercise caution as you cross the roads. Remember your right-of-way doesn’t always protect you if you’re not obeying the rules of the road.

Drivers, remember you are driving a dangerous motorized vehicle with the potential to hurt people. Don’t selfishly talk on the phone and conduct other unnecessary business while pretending to drive.

More people are out and about because the weather is getting nicer, but drivers need to remember that they share the road with pedestrians.

Here’s one more good reminder regarding sharing the roads in good weather. Warmer temps bring out motorcyclists and motor scooter riders. They need to be given the same respect as any other vehicle. Pedestrians can’t be walking out in front of two- wheeled moving objects as if they aren’t dangerous. Auto drivers should use careful judgment and gentle courtesy when handling street driving situations with smaller vehicles ridden by exposed humans who go flying when struck.
