I dont have any particular information on this theft, but i have been a victim to GPS theft from my car in the past. If you have a GPS in your car, it would be wise to take the GPS holder/suction cup OFF of your window when you leave your car. Also, wipe down your window after you take the GPS down. If a theif sees that round wet suction cup ring on your window, they KNOW that their is a GPS somewhere in your car, and WILL do what it takes to find it. No longer do we have to worry about our car stereos being stolen….GPS’s are the big thing to steal now. I have seen several cars in Sheepshead with their windows broken, and their stereo still fully intact in the vehicle.
Be careful with your GPS systems everybody.

Yeah, since the post the victim informed me that the GPS system was installed in the dashboard. Those thieves really knew what they were doing.

A car was broken into last night/this morning on E. 28th street between T & U. The police are going to have to start answering to us as to why so many cars are being broken into in the 61st precinct. Why cant they catch these people??
