I was mugged there back in 1991 coiming out of Sheepshead. F’ers!
I don’t know about that, Erica. There are a lot of banks in our neighborhood – and a lot of robberies. I grew up around the corner from what is now Bank of America, and I used to go in there with my father to be regaled with tales of the most recent robbery. I believe it’s pretty common – if there are banks, there are robberies. As for the shooting, it’s awful, but it happens every now and then. My verdict? Just a coincidence both happened within 24 hours.
Sigh. The neighborhood must be changing.
